Stop global warming, and President-elect Obama fixes the world, by John Coulter

John Coulter writes:
“My illustration rep, Lilla Rogers, gave us Lillastrators an assignment to produce some eco/green pieces. She included a story about Obama fixing the environment. So I illustrated that story, and did a more general one for global warming too.”

Suzy Ultman’s new cards designs, Part I

I think Madison Park is doing some of the best commissioning for card design.

Suzy writes:

“Hi again.
Here are the first 3 finished cards for Madison Park. We are using a pearl foil process for the raindrops on “Warm Thoughts” and the background pattern on “Tic Toc”. I think they are going to look even better when printed!

Yes, I make gumdrop balls.

In my house, we celebrate Christmas trees and Hanukkah and Buddhism. I like to celebrate the fun of all holidays. Every year I make some gumdrop balls with my glue gun and out of that came this collection. It’s addicting to make these. I recommend it if you’re looking for an easy craft project. Cheap, too. You can get the gumdrops and even some vintage-style candy at the drug store. Just don’t store them in the attic; they will melt. Otherwise, they last for years.

Pascal writes,

“Bonjour ladies,

I was doing some clean up in my silkscreens drawer and I just discovered something.
Last year, I sent cut and fold x-mas homes to my clients, and I still have a couple of them.”

Trina
writes,

“Hello!

I particularily liked developing ideas for this project – it was about reflecting on your Christmas spending in a positive way and evaluating without regret.”
