Month: August 2015
I hope you are having a great week and the summer is still happening :).
I’m dropping by with a few personal pieces I recently did…
Fresh new work by artist Hsinping Pan is now available for license. Don’t miss out on these unique and lovable illustrations!
Hi Lilla and Studio Ladies,
What a better way to celebrate August than with a sunshiney mermaid! She’s fresh from the ocean with lots of fun, funky flotsam caught in her hair. If you’d like your own mermaid poster, she’s available over at Oopsy daisy!
Hi Lilla and the studio ladies,
I recently was on the Flow Magazine blog! They made a cute animation of my fruit tutorial and did a little interview with me. :)
You can read the interview here: http://www.flowmagazine.com/things-we-do/tutorial-flora-waycott.html and watch below for the animation.
Have a lovely week!

This photo contains my all-time favorite object in my office: the letters that don’t quite spell out my name (there’s no “L” here since my name is Noël).
Left to right: aluminum letters that spell out “five,” our family’s lucky number; ceramic llamas beautifully crafted by Rachel Levit, one of my former students; Anthropologie deer vase from one of my daughters; another beautifully crafted ceramic yoga girl done by Leah Goren, another former student of mine; a teeny tiny teardrop terrarium from a family friend.
Dear Lilla and Ladies,
This “Love Japan Set” of temporary tattoos was my first adventure working with a Japanese company. It was the perfect match of form and personality. It was extra exciting to discover that the product launch would be with this Japan set — it was very special that they connected with my take on their culture.
And, good news — they ship to the U.S.!!!
You can buy them here: http://www.lilzebra.com/temporary-tattoo-lilzebra/temporary-tattoo-love-japan-set
We had the best time watching our feeds turn into fifty shades of blue, gorgeous compositions, quirky demographics and all sorts of clever finds of the word “the”.
