By opening my eyes! It’s impossible NOT to be inspired. Nature, museums, magazines, Instagram, clothing, vintage stores, etc., etc.

That’s a tough question! I guess at the moment — warm & cool greys, rosy beige & acid yellow.

Well, if we’re talking ‘dream’ jobs: poster art & surface designs for IKEA; fashion illustrations for catalogs; stationery; books; Crate & Barrel; Anthropologie; etc.

I like to play tennis and to hike with my dog.
What’s the strangest work experience you’ve ever had?
Strange in a very good way: salt & pepper shakers!

I keep some David Sedaris books by my bed, always good for a big laugh.

Been looking at a book a friend gave me — A Field Guide to Lucid Dreaming. It’s very interesting.
Where would you like to travel to next?
I’m not picky. Anywhere in Europe. Anywhere at all, for that matter.

I’d like to say David Hockney (yes, I know he’s alive), Philip Guston, Alice Neel, Anni Albers, Matisse, Joan Mitchell. They inspire me.

What do you wish your middle name was?
When I was little, I would say ‘Princess’. I’m ok with Mitchell now.
