I love designing, new ideas and am inspired by anything creative. Besides art, I enjoy good food, books, interesting podcasts and traveling when I get the chance.

Where have you lived?
I’ve lived in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Arizona.
What medium do you use?
I mostly use digital and sometime paint with gouache.
How do you stay inspired?
I’m inspired by so much! I especially love vintage lettering and designs, traveling and textiles. There’s just so much out there!
Where do you buy your art supplies?
A few local art stores.
Do you work traditionally or digitally?
Mostly digitally, but I always start traditionally with pencil and paper.
What color combination are you most excited about right now?
I never get tired of oranges and pinks.
Why do you like being an illustrator in 15 words or less?
I love the creativity and freedom it allows.
If you weren’t an illustrator, what would you be?
Probably an interior designer or something involving lots of baked goods.
What illustration job would you love to get (your dream job)?
Creating book covers for my favorite classics.
Name something you do in your spare time.
I like to read, try new restaurants and spend time with family and friends.

Sweden or Scotland.

I do! It makes me feel a little more put together for the day.

I always have a podcast or audio book going!

Pizza or tacos.
How do you stay in shape?
I try to eat healthy and exercise regulary.
How don’t you stay in shape?
I love my sugar a bit much.
What is your current favorite font?
I hand-letter most things, but I do love Gotham and Baskerville.
How do you take your coffee?
I’m actually a tea person, so many options!

Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso, Monet, Mary Blair, Charlie Harper, Tammis Keefe, Jane Austen, C.S. Lewis, this list goes on and on…
What was your favorite illustration assignment?
I’ve had a lot of fun ones, but I’ve really loved the boxes for Fika and the Little Women Cookbook.
