Where do you live?

I live in Weymouth, MA.

Where have you lived?

IÕve been in Mass my whole life.

What medium do you use?

The mediums I work in is gouache and digital

How do you stay inspired?

My inspiration comes from many places. Just in everyday life I will notice visually colors, shapes and ideas and try to write it down. You never know it might find a way into a project. I especially get inspired by art that is smart.

What color combination are you most excited about right now?

Right now my fave color combo is pink & brown. It changes every day however.

What blog(s) do you read?

IÕm new to the whole blog thing. I think itÕs good ane bad. It has been a great resource for information. But itÕs also full of time consuming nothing information. I have a few I find to have a high level of quality info. Print & Pattern, Design Sponge, Wee Wonderfuls and KrisÕs Color Stripes.

Why do you like being an illustrator in 10 words or less?

As an Illustrator you can really take something you love to do and make a career out of it. The best part of the process is when you go to that place inside your head and time stays still. The ÒflowÓ or ÒzoneÓ one might say. ItÕs a productive type of meditation.

If you weren’t an illustrator, what would you be?

If I were to choose a different career it would have to have the same opportunity to use my mind in a creative way. Possibly something outdoors in nature.

What illustration job would you love to get (your dream job)?

A dream illustration job would be to develop a character that would be used in print and animation. This character would convey an educational and positive message.

Where would you like to travel to next?

I really donÕt see much travel in the near future. But when the opportunity comes up. I would love to tour Southern Italy cycling and eating my way around.

What’s your favorite TV show?

My fave t.v. show is Project Runway.

What’s your favorite NPR show?

My fave NPR show is This American Life.

What movie have you seen several times?

A movie IÕve seen over and over would be Uncle Buck.

Who is your favorite cartoon character? ?

My fave cartoon character is Bugs Bunny.

Who are you in “The Office”?

I think I would be Pam in the show The Office.

What do you listen to while you work?

While working I like to listen to NPR.

What’s your middle name?

My middle name is actually Genovese, which was my maiden name, but I use as my last name as an Illustrator. Confused yet?

If you could eat only one food, what would it be?

If I had to eat just one food it would be Pad Thai.

How do you take your coffee?

I like to drink my coffee with soy milk.

Whom would you like to meet?

If I had the opportunity to meet anyone it would be the late Walt Disney.
